Competitive REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2008-09

 

Competitive program fees include: class training, dance, and in-class choreography, class incentives, reports, awards, meets (not added championships) program events and refundable volunteer levy. Additional events like added Saturday training, city training, uniforms (approximately $175-$200 if you don’t have one), travel and camps are not included.

Competitive program fees are for the entire year.  They may be paid in full at the fall registration or in 3 installments.  (September 15th, December 15th and March 15th).   Note: Online registration requires payment in full, payment by installment must be done in person.

Fall Registration requires either full payment or three post-dated cheques or credit card number which will be processed on the above dates. 

Please remember that all Competitive program fees are non-refundable (except for 3 week doctor medicals) after the registration deadline of September 15/08.

Competitive Membership fee $100 is paid annually with your pre-registration or registration and is non-refundable. It includes WG and Gymnastics BC membership/insurance. Those who pre-registered paid this membership fee as their deposit.

Returning members who did not pre-register on time will be charged the late fee of $25.

• You may pay by cash, cheque with Visa or MasterCard.
• Registration requirements must be completed in full by the parent before the participant can start.
• Registration requires the payment of program & membership fee, completion of the registration/permission form and completion of appropriate waiver (Assumption/acknowledgement of Risk). To expedite your registration download the registration form and waiver and come with them filled out. Please remember to include your participants medical number to insure our GBC Insurance.

Competitive classes start Wed. Sept 3. No classes on Thanksgiving weekend and Halloween night.

Gym suit (practice suit) sales (new & used) will occur at Strut Your Stuff and during the first 2 weeks of classes. Used suits must be paid for with exact cash/cheque only-no CC. Bring in your used clothing with a marked name, phone & price to sell.

Any new comp suits will be arranged at the Comp Parents mtg night in October.

HOW TO REGISTER

(A parent of all those who have pre-registered and any who have not MUST come to one of these 2 reg. dates)
•    Comp Families Only may register on Wed. Sept 3/08 between 1-8pm upstairs SCCC at the WG office
•    GFA registration Strut your Stuff Sat. Sept 6th 10-2pm at Myrtle Philip

Returning members who did not pre-register by June 30 with be charged the added late fee of $25. Pre-registering holds your spot until Strut Your Stuff and assists us in determining coaching needs.
We are a non-profit club operating as economically as possible with volunteer membership support.
