Absolutely! Whistler Gymnastics is a huge supporter of Cross training. Cross training increases body awareness, coordination, and air sense using gymnastics foundations. This program allows athletes of all sport backgrounds to benefit from the use of gymnastics equipment and training. Within these sessions athletes will learn safety techniques for falling and landing. They will also become increasingly more agile and adaptable. Please contact us for rates and information.

For safety and comfort, Participants should be in clean, athletic, gym clothes (sport shorts and fitted t-shirts or bodysuits) with clean, bare feet or gymnastic slippers. Trampoline socks are a recommended option for advanced GFA and COMP trampoline training. Clothing should have no buttons, belts, zippers, cords or anything to catch or scratch. Clothing should have no extra loose fabric (i.e. Flounces, lace, skirts, pockets, cuffs, baggy clothing or costuming). Hair needs to be held back off the face, out of the eyes and field of vision i.e. with fabric headbands or soft clips (no bobby-pins, sharp clips or hard headbands). In addition, longer hair (below chin level) needs to be secured and tied back, so it won’t interfere in gymnastic activity, spotting, get caught in apparatus, and stay out of the eyes. (i.e. elastic bands, scrunchies, buns, ponytails, head-braids). Please remove jewelry before class. Small stud earrings are permitted.

Whistler Gymnastics is both a recreational and competitive athletic facility for Artistic and Trampoline Gymnastics. Recreation programs offer a variety of progressive curriculum activities suitable for all genders, age groups and abilities that contribute to personal health, fitness and well-being. Developmental, Performance and Competitive programs offer training for athletes working towards provincial and national competitions.

Our sessions range from 10-14 weeks depending on the season. They begin in September and continue through June. We also offer excellent Spring Break, Winter Break and Summer Camps!
